Wanting Products

If you find it on the ReallyWantThat site, simply click on the black/white ReallyWantThat hand logo (not the one at the top of the page, but the one that's part of how many people want it, in the small box) (if it's in colour, then you already really want it).
If you come across it while surfing the web, use the ReallyWantThat Bookmarklet, or, if the online shop has added it, you can use the ReallyWantThat Shop Button.

Wish Lists / Gift Lists

To create a list, click on 'new list...' on any product page. Enter the required information (list name, privacy setting etc.) and click 'Create List' to create it.
This will also add the product that you're viewing to your new list.
To create a gift list, follow the instructions for creating a wish list, but click on the 'Gift List' checkbox. You will then be able to enter the date of the event that the gifts will be bought for.
Turning a wish list into a gift list will allow you to set a date of the event that the gifts are being bought for.
People who you invite will also be allowed to mark products as 'bought'. This will help to prevent individual gifts being bought by multiple people.
Click on the 'reorder products' link found under the 'Products' tab. Then drag the products to their new positions and click 'Save'.

Accounts

We can't tell you your password because it's encrypted in a way that not even we can decrypt. We can, however, help you reset it. Simply visit the password reset page and enter either your username or registered email address. We'll send you an email with instructions on how to reset your password. This email will include your username, in case your forgot it.

It's an embeddable widget that you can display anywhere you can paste HTML code.

Bookmarklet

It's an easy-to-use bookmarklet that lets you quickly want anything from anywhere on the web. It sits neatly in your bookmarks toolbar, so it's unobtrusive, and it doesn't take you away from the page you're viewing. To see it in action, view the ReallyWantThat Bookmarklet page.
Simply go to the ReallyWantThat Bookmarklet page, and follow the instructions for your browser.
We don't modify your browser, it's just like any other bookmark you have.

Shop Button

Adding the ReallyWantThat Shop Button to your website enables your product data to automatically be added to ReallyWantThat, allowing our users to compare your prices, driving new traffic to your website.
Yes. Simply go to the ReallyWantThat Shop Button page, where you can choose the colours and size of the Shop Button. Then you can generate the code, which you can add to your website.
First, apply to use it on your shop administration page. Once we've accepted your application, go to the ReallyWantThat Shop Button page, choose your settings, and generate the code. Then copy + paste the code into your website. Done. It's that simple.

Online Retailers

All you need to do is add the ReallyWantThat Shop Button (which is free) to your website which enables your product data to automatically be added to ReallyWantThat, allowing our users to compare your prices, driving new traffic to your website.

Price Alerts

Setting up a price alert will mean that you're alerted when the price of a product goes below your boundary price.
Discounts and offers are included when we calculate the price, so you don't have to manually monitor offers on a product.
To create a price alert, all you need to do is click the 'create price alert' link, located on the right of all product pages, enter a boundary price (the price you want the product to go below to be alerted) and choose whether or not you want to be alerted each time the price lowers (once it has reached your boundary price).
Simply click the 'edit price alert' link, located on the right of all product pages
You can manage all of your price alerts here. There, you're given the option to delete price alerts.

Personalised Recommendations

Login / join (if you haven't already) and go to the recommendations page.
The more you use ReallyWantThat, the more accurate the recommendations are. So it's up to you basically.
If a product that you're really not interested in keeps appearing in your personalised recommendations, then you can click the 'X' that's in one of the top corners of the product image, and it will disappear for good.

Facebook Connect

Facebook Connect is a service from Facebook, that allows it's users to login to their favourite sites using their Facebook account.

In addition to making it easier to login to ReallyWantThat, Facebook Connect allows you to share your ReallyWantThat activity with your Facebook friends by posting it to your Facebook feed (but only if you want to).
Simply click the 'Connect with Facebook' button on any page, either logged in or out - it doesn't matter. It's that simple.
Yes. You can choose what type of activity you're prompted to post to your wall here.

Connect with Twitter

Connecting with Twitter allows you to automatically post Twitter status updates when you 'Really Want' something.
We plan on expanding the functionality in the future, like updating your status when you add something to a list, write a thought or comment etc. If we do, then we'll provide a twitter settings page, so you can select what actions cause your status to be updated.
Basically, when you click 'Connect with Twitter' at the top of the page when logged in, you're taken to Twitter's website, where you can either confirm or deny the connection. You can then disconnect at any time you want, by clicking 'Disconnect from Twitter'.
NO. We use Twitter's new oAuth authenticaton system.

Sure. You can disconnect your twitter account from your ReallyWantThat account whenever you want. Simply click the 'Disconnect from Twitter' button at the top of the page when logged in.
